2. Scope
These terms and conditions apply to the use of the website www.alpes-huskies.ch, to booking and taking part in Alpes'Huskies activities, to buying gift vouchers and to orders placed in the online shop. By booking an activity, buying a gift voucher or placing an order, the customer confirms that they have read and accepted them.
Special conditions may apply to certain services (camps, groups, team building, animal-assisted therapy). They are provided at the time of registration or in the offer, and take precedence over these terms and conditions in the event of any discrepancy.
3. Activities offered
Alpes'Huskies offers tourism, educational and sporting activities with its sled dogs: sled or kart rides, introductions to driving a dog team, husky hikes, museum and kennel visits, camps for children and teenagers, private and corporate events, animal-assisted therapy, as well as an online shop selling equipment for dog-powered sports.
The description, duration, price and conditions of participation for each activity are given on its booking page.
4. Booking and payment
Activities are booked online at www.alpes-huskies.ch. A booking is final once the confirmation email has been received.
Prices are given in Swiss francs (CHF), VAT included. Online bookings are paid for at the time of booking, using the payment methods offered on the website.
Services for groups, companies, schools and institutions are subject to a tailor-made offer. They are payable on invoice, according to the terms agreed with the customer.
Certain supplements or options (for example for a partner offer) may be payable on site. They are indicated at the time of booking.
5. Conditions of participation
Each activity states the minimum age required on its page. Children under 2 are not allowed on sled or kart activities. Minors take part under the responsibility of an adult, except for camps, which have their own registration conditions.
For the dogs' wellbeing, the recommended maximum weight is about 90 kg per adult on sled and kart activities. Above this, a suitable option may be required.
Pregnant women take part at their own risk or with their doctor's approval.
Before the activity, participants must inform Alpes'Huskies of any health or mobility issue that could affect their safety or that of the dogs. Alpes'Huskies may then adapt the activity or, if safety cannot be guaranteed, refuse participation.
Participants must wear clothing suited to the season and bring the equipment listed on the activity page. They must follow the team's instructions at all times.
Personal pets are not allowed on activities, except with the prior agreement of Alpes'Huskies for activities designed for your own dog.
6. Cancellation, changes and late arrival
Weather and current conditions
Activities generally take place in all weathers. Weather conditions are not grounds for a refund. When there is not enough snow for a winter activity, Alpes'Huskies offers a suitable alternative, for example a kart instead of a sled.
Alpes'Huskies may change, postpone or cancel an activity for reasons of safety, extreme weather conditions or the dogs' wellbeing. In this case, the activity is preferably postponed to another date. If no date suits the customer, Alpes'Huskies offers a gift voucher equal in value to the amount paid. If this solution does not suit the customer either, Alpes'Huskies will discuss the possibility of a refund with them.
Leisure activities booked for a specific date do not carry a right of withdrawal.
7. Gift vouchers
Gift vouchers are valid for 24 months from the date of purchase. They can be given to anyone and used for all Alpes'Huskies experiences. They are neither refundable nor exchangeable for cash, including after their expiry date.
8. Accommodation
Bookings for La Chotte du Musher are made via the Région Dents du Midi platform and are subject to that platform's terms and conditions.
9. Online shop
Item prices are given in Swiss francs (CHF), VAT included. Delivery charges are shown when ordering. Deliveries are made within Switzerland only.
Orders are processed once payment has been received. Delivery times are given for guidance only and may vary depending on item availability and transport conditions.
For reasons of hygiene and safety, items that have been unpacked, used or tried on cannot be returned or exchanged. Customers should check the sizes, dimensions and features of items before ordering; Alpes'Huskies is happy to advise them.
If an item is faulty or the wrong item is delivered, the customer should contact Alpes'Huskies as soon as possible. The customer's rights under the statutory warranty remain unaffected.
10. Insurance and liability
Each participant must have their own personal accident insurance. Alpes'Huskies holds professional liability insurance.
Taking part in the activities implies accepting the ordinary risks associated with outdoor and mountain activities and contact with animals. Each participant undertakes to follow the team's instructions.
To the extent permitted by law, Alpes'Huskies accepts no liability for damage resulting from failure to follow instructions, inappropriate behaviour by the participant or inaccurate information about their state of health. Alpes'Huskies' liability for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence remains reserved.
Alpes'Huskies is not liable for personal belongings lost, stolen or damaged during activities.
11. Photos and videos
The team may take photos and videos during activities. Images in which a person can be identified are only published with their consent, or that of their parents for a minor. Details are set out in the privacy policy.
12. Use of the website
The content of the website is provided for information purposes. Alpes'Huskies makes every effort to ensure it is accurate and up to date, but cannot guarantee that it is free of errors or that the website will always be available. To the extent permitted by law, Alpes'Huskies is not liable for damage resulting from the use of the website or its temporary unavailability.
The website may contain links to third-party websites. Alpes'Huskies has no control over these websites and is not responsible for their content.
13. Intellectual property
The texts, photographs, videos, logos, graphics and other elements of the website are protected by copyright. Any reproduction, distribution or use, even partial, without the prior written permission of Alpes'Huskies is prohibited.

14. Data protection
The processing of personal data is described in the privacy policy.
15. Changes and reference version
Alpes'Huskies may amend these terms and conditions at any time. The applicable version is the one in force at the time of booking or ordering.
These terms and conditions are written in French. In the event of any discrepancy between the French version and a translation, the French version prevails.
16. Applicable law
These terms and conditions are governed by Swiss law.
In the event of a dispute, the competent courts are those of the canton of Fribourg, subject to mandatory legal provisions, in particular those allowing consumers to bring proceedings before the court of their place of residence.
